House rules at this table

A turn

Roll all five dice. You may hold any of them and roll the others, up to three rolls in total. Then you must score in one empty box, even if that means writing a zero.

The card

Upper section: aces through sixes, counting only that face. 63 or more in the upper section is worth a 35 bonus. Lower section: three of a kind and four of a kind score the total of all five dice; full house 25; small straight (four in a row) 30; large straight (five in a row) 40; Yahtzee (five of a kind) 50; chance is the total of all five.

The end

When every box on every card is filled, the higher total wins. Play again from the same table if you like.

Questions

How many rolls do I get?

Up to three each turn. The first roll uses all five dice. After that you can hold any of them and roll the rest.

What is the upper bonus?

If your aces through sixes add up to 63 or more, you get 35 extra.

What if I roll a second Yahtzee?

If the Yahtzee box already has 50, you score 100 bonus and must use a joker: fill the matching upper box if it is open, otherwise a lower box (full house and straights score their usual points).

How do you win?

After thirteen turns each, the higher grand total wins. A tie is a draw.
