Two Player Cards

Speed

Play Speed online, both at once

Speed is a race, not a turn game. Both of you play at once onto two shared centre piles. One rank up or down. Ace sits next to king and two. First to empty hand and stock wins.

Free, no ads, no download. Two seats: a friend on another device, or the computer.

How two people play

  1. Open a table. Tap “Play a friend”. You get a five-letter code.
  2. Send the code. The other person types it at Two Player Cards, on their own phone or computer.
  3. Play. Each of you only sees what you should. The deck stays on the server.

House rules at this table

Deal

Standard 52-card pack. Fifteen cards each as a facedown stock, five in hand. Two cards start the centre piles. The leftover ten sit as two extra piles of five.

Play

Play a card one rank higher or lower than either centre pile. Suits do not matter. Ace sits next to both king and two. When you play, a replacement comes from your stock so you stay at five (or fewer when the stock is gone).

Stuck and the end

If neither of you can play, one extra card is flipped onto each centre pile when extras exist. If they are gone, both centre piles are shuffled and a new starter is dealt to each. Empty your hand and stock first, and you win.
